On behalf of the President of the Republic, the Grand Master of the National Orders, Romuald Wadagni, presided over an official ceremony of major symbolic significance: the awarding of the Order of Artistic and Cultural Merit to several leading figures of the Beninese artistic scene.

This honor recognizes decades of passionate creation, transmission, and cultural influence, which have resonated far beyond Benin’s borders.
