AFRICAN AMAZON PHOTOGRAPHERS FESTIVAL: 18 visual voices addressing a planet in crisis
As the opening approaches, the African Amazon Photographers Festival is ramping up its preparations. Centered on the poignant theme « Planet Earth in Crisis, » this cultural event aims to go beyond mere aesthetic observation. Faced with the intensifying ravages of climate change extreme droughts, devastating floods, and rapid biodiversity loss these photojournalists and visual artists intend to use their lenses to champion concrete solutions and powerful environmental advocacy. This key milestone meeting coincides with the gradual unveiling of the 18 creators’ official portraits on the festival’s Facebook page.
