2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR IN LOKOSSA: 130 Students Supported by Honorable Dakpè Sossou
As the 2026-2027 academic year approaches, the MP covers 50% of tuition fees for young graduates over a three-year cycle.
The start of the university year is approaching, bringing with it the stress of tuition fees. To relieve dozens of families in Lokossa, Honorable Dakpè Sossou is directly funding 130 half-scholarships over three years to enable deserving young people to access professional training.
The initiative, named PAFA-EU (Projet d’Accompagnement et de Facilités d’Accès aux Études Universitaires), relies on a partnership with the Institut Supérieur de Génie Civil et de Gestion (ISGG) in Calavi.
The program prioritizes sectors with high employability:
- Civil Engineering and Construction (BTP)
- Surveying and Topography
- Computer Science / IT
- Public Procurement
- Entrepreneurship
The cost-sharing is equal: the family pays 50% of the tuition, while the remainder is covered by the MP. The scholarship remains valid throughout the three-year curriculum leading to a Professional Bachelor’s Degree, subject to academic success. For parents, the scheme provides crucial financial relief right before the start of the academic year.
This effort aims to train technicians and executives capable of driving development projects in the Mono department. Registration for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open, leaving the responsibility of success to the hard work and rigor of the future scholarship recipients.
