From Brazzaville to Paris, Christ Makossy, alias Zododo Mack, is transforming the cultural landscape by guiding the new afro-urban scene toward professionalization and international acclaim.

In Congo-Brazzaville, the musical pool has never lacked creativity. However, structuring this raw talent into a genuinely sustainable industry long remained a challenge for local creators. It is precisely to fill this gap that Mack Production has positioned itself as one of the key drivers of professionalization in the Central African sector.

Founded and directed by cultural entrepreneur Christ Makossy (known by the pseudonym Zododo Mack), the organization goes beyond the framework of a traditional label. It offers a comprehensive ecosystem built around music production, artist management, audiovisual direction, digital strategy, and event planning.

In the era of streaming platforms and content overload, Mack Production’s ambition is clear: to equip the new wave—represented by promising figures such as Karcy, B-Grace, Una Candy, Mr B, and Nix Ozay—with strategic tools to meet the demands of the global market.

The most iconic project reflecting this vision remains the Zododo Festival. Born in Madibou, in Brazzaville’s 8th arrondissement, this event has become an essential gathering for youth and key players on the Congolese scene.

Designed as a platform for creative expression and local economic opportunities, the festival aligns itself with major African gatherings like FEMUA in Côte d’Ivoire or FESPACO in Burkina Faso. Following the success of its 2024 and 2025 editions, the Zododo Festival demonstrated its ability to decentralize cultural access while celebrating local heritage.

Through Mack Production, Christ Makossy champions a modern vision of African soft power: enabling artists to succeed from their homeland without necessarily going into exile, while maintaining a strong connection with the diaspora based in Europe, particularly in France.

« Through Mack Production and the Zododo Festival, we want to contribute to promoting local culture and creating new opportunities for industry professionals, » stresses the founder.

By extending its strategic bridges between Brazzaville, Kinshasa, Abidjan, Dakar, and Paris, Mack Production highlights an undeniable reality: African talent is already here—it only lacked solid structures to conquer the international stage.
