BENIN PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUEJ: oël Debally Elected to Head the New Board
Following the elective General Assembly, Joël Debally was officially elected president of the Benin Professional Football League (LFP-Benin). The sole candidate, the Coton FC president, received almost unanimous support from the delegates to lead Beninese professional football.
The single list headed by Joël Debally received a resounding vote of confidence. Of the 26 voting delegates present at the General Assembly, 25 voted in favor of his candidacy, with only one dissenting vote.
With this overwhelming 96% approval, the new League president assumes his duties with strong legitimacy and a mandate firmly validated by the key players in national football.
To carry out his mission, Joël Debally will be surrounded by a team of seasoned leaders representing the diversity of the country’s professional clubs.

This new executive committee combines the experience of leading clubs in the league with the fresh perspective of new ambitions, with the primary challenge of continuing the structuring and professionalization of Beninese football.
