SRTB: Abèdjè Sinatou Saka Takes the Helm of the General Directorate
A new era is dawning for the Benin Radio and Television Corporation (SRTB). A seasoned journalist and recognized expert on digital issues, Abèdjè Sinatou Saka has officially taken the reins of the national broadcasting institution. She succeeds Koundé Ogoutchina, who had been serving as interim director since Angela Aquereburu’s departure.
At just 34 years old, this seasoned professional (born August 24, 1991) is reaching a major milestone in her already rich career, which boasts significant experience at both the national and international levels.
Her mission at the head of the public service broadcaster is clear: to make her mark by continuing the structural reforms already underway. Her priorities will revolve around a major modernization project: accelerating the digital transformation of SRTB and improving the quality of content broadcast on radio, television, and digital platforms.
