VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN BENIN: Registration Open at 13 Public Centers
Registration for vocational training programs in Benin has officially opened. In a circular, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Employment Promotion, Awaou Baco, invites young people to seize this opportunity for professional integration by preparing for the CQM and CQP certifications.
Registration period: August 17 to September 25, 2026.
Start date: September 28, 2026.
Application fee: 1,000 FCFA.
Host Centers (13 sites)
Abomey, Agoua, Agouagon, Athiémé, Covè, Djidja, Dogbo, Djougou, Kouandé, Nikki, Pahou, Sè, and Zè.
Application Requirements
Trade Qualification Certificate (CQM)
Minimum age: 14 years old as of December 31, 2026.
Motivation to learn a trade and enter the labor market.
Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP)
Profile: Young people who have left the school system, aged at least 14 as of December 31, 2026.
Education level: Holder of the CEP (Primary School Certificate) with schooling completed up to the 4th-year secondary level (or equivalent level depending on the trade).
Admission: Passing the selection test.
Application Package
Duly completed registration form.
Copy of birth certificate (or equivalent document).
Receipt of payment for the application processing fee (1,000 FCFA).
