4TH EDITION OF THE ANNUAL DICTATION COMPETITION CALLED “LA DICTÉE DU PRESIDENT” : The registration register is open to candidates.

The NGO Cap Équilibre Bénin is launching the fourth edition of its annual dictation competition called “La Dictée du Président”. The experience of the designer and director of this national competition is proven. Fadel KABASSI, the President of the organizing NGO, after a great success of the last three editions, launches for the fourth edition, the registrations.
It is a dictation competition for children of level CM2 at most. He comes to « establish a culture of excellence in our children, a taste for reading, arouse in them a sense of emulation, and contribute to the training of a quality succession, » says Fadel KABASSI.
This is a first, for three years already, in the historical and educational annals of our country Benin and the sub-region. From Wednesday February 1st to Tuesday February 28th, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the parents, teachers and/or school principals of these children can call the number of the Departmental Coordinator (CD) of the competition or call 63 30 27 25 or 60 41 41 31 (numbers of the NGO CAP ÉQUILIBRE BÉNIN) and give the Surname, First names, gender and contacts of the child concerned while specifying his district of residence.
The « La Dictée du Président » competition takes place in four (4) phases. The pre-selection phase includes “four (4) dictations read by the Head of District (CA) for the selection of the ten (10) best children of his District who will thus participate in the communal stage. During the selection phase, three (3) dictations are read by the Mayor for the selection of the ten (10) best children of his Commune who will take part in the departmental stage. During the qualification phase, two (2) dictations are read by the Prefect for the selection of the ten (10) best children in his Department qualified to participate in the national stage. The final phase will be held in Cotonou and one (1) dictation will be read by the President of the Republic or his Representative, for the detection of the three (3) best children, and the five (5) best girls, at the national level” details Fadel KABASSI, President of the NGO Cap Équilibre Bénin, creator of this competition.
Registration fees are 2,500 CFA francs / child (zone 1); and 2,000 CFA francs/child (zone 2). Zone 1 includes the localities of Abomey-Calavi, Cotonou, Parakou and Porto-Novo; and Zone 2 (Other Municipalities) after subsidies by goodwill.
