LIVING TOGETHER THROUGH SPORTS PROJECT : Bosco Star Basketball launches its activities this Saturday
To promote access to sports for out-of-school youth in northern Benin, Bosco Star Basketball is kicking off its activities with a grand caravan this Saturday, October 20, 2024 in Parakou. Centered on basketball, this project initiated by Bosco Star Basketball aims to offer out-of-school youth the opportunity to engage in regular sports activities to foster their personal and professional development.
A grand caravan will mark the beginning of these activities and will serve to present the project to the general public. The goal is to involve 200 young people, 100 girls and 100 boys, who are following training courses in workshops or training centers.
These young people will have the opportunity to participate regularly in sports clubs and will be trained to become leaders. Through these training workshops, Bosco Star Basketball aims to strengthen young people’s commitment to sports, improve their physical condition and mental well-being, promote their personal development through the benefits of regular sports practice, and promote social inclusion by raising awareness and supporting sports activities for out-of-school youth.
Bosco Star Basketball invites the entire population to come in large numbers to this caravan to discover this ambitious project.
