After taking the exams from June 1 to 4, 2026, the 286,995 candidates for the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) will finally learn their results this Friday, June 26. Starting at 10:30 a.m., the entire country will hold its breath for the official announcement of the results, a decisive step that marks the end of primary school and opens the doors to secondary school.

In total, 148,424 boys and 138,571 girls sat the exams in 847 examination centers spread across the country. For four days, these young students faced the tests that culminate six years of intensive learning.

For the Ministry of Nursery and Primary Education, this exam represents much more than a simple assessment. The CEP (Certificate of Primary Education) certifies the acquisition of fundamental knowledge and is a prerequisite for entering 6th grade. For thousands of children, it represents the very first major milestone in their academic journey.

As in previous years, modernization and digitalization are key. Results will be available online immediately after the official announcement via the national eResults platform. To access them, candidates and parents simply need to select the « CEP 2026 » exam and enter the student’s exam number. This quick alternative avoids the stress of long lines at the results centers.

It is also worth noting that inclusion was central to this 2026 session. Educational authorities have continued to provide specific accommodations for students with special needs. This year, 97 candidates with disabilities benefited from adapted exam conditions in 13 specialized centers.

This Friday at precisely 10:30 a.m., cries of joy will inevitably mingle with tears of disappointment. For those who passed, a new chapter will begin on the path to secondary school; for those who didn’t, it will be an opportunity for a fresh start and a second chance. One thing remains certain: after the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education), every child grows, with or without honors.
