POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL GUIDANCE 2026-2027: The Ministry Launches a National Campaign to Guide New High School Graduates
As high school graduation results open the door to higher education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) is taking action. A large-scale national information and guidance campaign is being organized for the 2026-2027 academic year to help new graduates make strategic academic choices.
This initiative aims to clarify selection procedures, present the available training programs, and assist students in prioritizing their choices on official platforms.
The national tour will officially kick off on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Amphitheater 100 on the Sogbo-Aliho Campus, at the National University of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (UNSTIM) in Abomey.
Following the official launch, delegations from the Ministry will be deployed to various departments to conduct direct discussions. Career opportunities, admission requirements for different programs, and the details of distance learning will be presented in these sessions.
To ensure optimal coverage of the territory, the guidance teams will meet with high school graduates according to the following schedule:
Monday, August 3, 2026 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Cotonou: ISBA SADELER Amphitheater
Abomey-Calavi: Idriss Déby Itno Amphitheater
Porto-Novo: ENS Abiola Amphitheater
Parakou: University of Parakou Amphitheater 1000
Dassa-Zoumè: University Center Amphitheater
Natitingou: ENS Amphitheater
Djougou, Kandi, Nikki: Respective Community Centers
Tuesday, August 4, 2026
Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Community Centers in Ouidah, Allada, Sèmè-Kpodji, Bohicon, Péhunco, Copargo Bembèrèkè and Banikoara.
Afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Community Centers in Toffo, Sakété, Comè, Savalou, Ouaké, Tchaourou, and Ségbana.
Wednesday, August 5, 2026 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Community Centers: Kouandé, Azovè, Kétou, Lokossa, Covè, Bantè, Bassila, and Gogounou.
While participation in these gatherings is strongly recommended to refine your study plans, the Ministry reminds you that the formal application process remains entirely online. High school graduates must register their choices on the dedicated digital platform: apresmonbac.bj.
