ROAD SAFETY IN BENIN: The National Road Safety Center (CNSR) is undergoing a major overhaul and accelerating its modernization
The CNSR has reached a historic milestone in its institutional transformation. Modernization of its statutes, digitalization of its tools, and a new visual identity: the institution is reinventing itself to be more efficient and closer to the public.
This comprehensive restructuring, underway for several months, aims to strengthen the CNSR’s governance and effectiveness in the field. This momentum is reflected in several major advancements:
Adoption of new statutes and official installation of the Board of Directors.
Restructuring of services and modernization of daily work tools.
Launch of the national AGIR campaign, designed to encourage more responsible driving behavior.
To adapt to current practices and offer a more responsive public service, the CNSR is deploying a brand-new communication strategy:
- A new visual identity
The center sports a new logo and a more modern graphic charter, resolutely focused on digital technology.
- A leading website
The launch of the www.cnsr.bj platform now allows citizens to easily access road safety news, awareness tips, and various online services.
- A direct point of contact (Calls and WhatsApp)
To simplify communication and quickly process user requests, a single number is available: +229 01 92 29 99 99 (accessible by direct call and via the WhatsApp application).
Through this wave of innovations, the CNSR reaffirms its fundamental mission: to sustainably establish a road safety culture in Benin, based on prevention, collective responsibility, and the preservation of human lives.
